The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has announced a 48-hour shutdown for the GH-Medical feeder, scheduled from 10:00 AM on February 12th to 10:00 AM on February 14th, 2024. This measure aims to enhance service reliability by addressing key infrastructure concerns.
The shutdown entails the relocation of the existing 700 mm dia Medical Feeder currently situated under the Metro Flyover at LIC Square to Bharat Talkies. Additionally, a replacement of the 500 mm dia. EMF Meter on the GH-Medical feeder at Governor House MBR premises is planned.
Residents in affected areas, including GMC,TVward,SECRrailway,TataCapital,Rambaghcolony,Rajabaksha,Indira Nagar, Jattrodi No. 3, Ajni Railway, Rambagh MHADA, Shukla Atta chakki, Untkhana, Great Nag Road, Borkar Nagar, Bara signal are advised of possible disruptions in water supply during this period. Furthermore, areas served by the Godrej Anandam ESR CA, such as Dakshina Murti Chowk and Pataleshwar Road, will also experience water supply interruptions.
Regrettably, water tanker services will be temporarily unavailable during this time. The NMC extends its apologies for any inconvenience and appreciates the public’s cooperation in these efforts to enhance infrastructure.
