Central Railway Nagpur Division has intensified its efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by cracking down on violations of railway regulations. During the month of January, a total of 882 cases of violation of provisions of gazette No. GSR 846 (E) were detected, leading to the collection of an amount Rs. 14,800.
Among the detected violations, 20 passengers were found smoking in Railway Premises, which is strictly prohibited. These individuals were promptly fined, resulting in the collection of fines amounting to Rs. 4000.
