In an effort to enhance service reliability, Orange City Water (OCW) and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) have announced scheduled shutdowns as part of the AMRUT Yojana 2.0 initiative. On February 24, 2024, a 12-hour shutdown is planned for Jaitala ESR, while a 16-hour shutdown is scheduled for Dipti Signal Square.
The shutdowns are intended for specific reasons: Jaitala ESR will undergo feeder interconnection to a newly constructed sump from 10 AM to 10 PM near Jaitala ESR, while maintenance work near Sai Leela apartment, Dipti Signal square, Kalamna road will occur from 10:00 AM to 02:00 AM on February 25, 2024.
Areas to be affected include Kalamna, Minimata ESR (Minimata Nagar, Jalaram Nagar, Janki Nagar, Surya Nagar, Minimata Nagar Panch Zopda, Chikhli Lay out – Industrial Area, Umiya society) and Jaitala ESR (Sai layout, Sharda Nagar, Sasane layout, Sai Nagar, Prabhakar guide layout, Mahajan layout, Panchwati Nagar, Ninnaware layout, Sharda Nagar, Tulsi Vihar, Shiv Vihar, Vijay Vihar, Fourth India layout, Dongre layout, Swastik nagar, Dhabekar layout, Date layout, etc.).
During the shutdowns, affected areas will experience a water supply disruption, with temporary unavailability of water tanker services. Residents are requested to cooperate and bear with the inconvenience caused as efforts are made to enhance infrastructure.
