Gold worth Rs 50 lakh 75 thousand was recovered from a passenger at Nagpur International Airport. Nagpur Customs Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) and Air Customs Unit (ACU) took this action. Apart from this, mobile, smart watch worth Rs 77 lakh have also been recovered from the arrested person. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Mogar Abbas. He had come to Nagpur from Sharjah in Air Arabia flight G9-415. The department had received information about this big smuggling. During investigation, it was revealed Gold was sprayed on the inner part of the passenger’s pants and stitched into some clothes.
