A fire broke out in the Motibagh Railway Museum on Sunday. In this incident, six coaches of a train standing there were burnt to ashes. The fire brigade vehicle extinguished the fire.
However, the flames were so intense that the fire personnel had faced difficulty in extinguishing the fire.
The fire was brought under control after about three and a half hours of effort. In this incident, the heritage room, office and store room along with the goods kept in the autodrome were burnt to ashes. Railways suffered a loss of Rs 75 lakh in this incident. However, how the fire started has not yet been revealed.
