The Nagpur Meteorological Centre (RMC) issued a hailstorm warning, raising a ‘Yellow Alert’ from March 16 to 18 for Vidarbha, including Nagpur and nearby regions.
According to Weather Department forecasts, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, and Chandrapur districts are likely to experience hailstorms and strong winds on March 17 and 18. Similarly, Wardha and Gadchiroli districts may encounter gusty winds from March 16 to 18. However, areas including Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana, and Washim are expected to remain dry with no major weather disruptions.
Apart from hailstorms and gusty winds, partially cloudy weather is forecasted across much of Vidarbha, providing respite from the intense summer heat. Conversely, Akola, Buldhana, and Washim are anticipated to continue experiencing dry conditions with minimal changes in the coming three days.
