In celebration of International Women’s Day, a collaborative effort between MIT Square Landon, We Raise Foundation, and Raj Square Foundation Bangalore, along with the support of MSME and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India, organised an event called “Women Power India Awards-2024” at the Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, Chennai. This event was dedicated to honouring women achievers from diverse fields and recognising their outstanding contributions and achievements.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of “The Girl Child Prodigy Award” to Ms. Tarini Abhay Deshmukh, a 7-year-old prodigy known for her exceptional talent in painting. Tarini, a 2nd-grade student at the School of Scholars, Atrey Layout, expressed her gratitude for the award and credited her remarkable journey to the unwavering support of her grandparents, parents, teachers, and friends.
The award ceremony was graced by Ms. Bhuvaneshwari Loganathan, Director of MIT Square Landon, We Raise Foundation, and Raj Square Foundation Bangalore, and Dr. N. Marie Wilson, Director of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, Chennai, who presented Tarini with the prestigious award. The event not only celebrated individual achievements but also served as a platform to inspire and empower women and girls to pursue their dreams and excel in their chosen fields.
