Several villages in Hingna Taluka were hit by unseasonal rain on Tuesday, March 19, in the evening. Wheat, orchards, vegetables, and flowers have all suffered damage from hail and rain.
Although rainfall was modest in Taluka, hailstorms accompanied by heavy showers occurred in other areas, soaking the standing wheat crop and post-harvest paddy fields and causing farmers to incur losses.
Vegetable, orange, and fruit orchards, as well as flower fields, suffered significant damage in the Taluka’s Neri Mankar, Giroli, Metaumri, Mohgaon, Savangi, Deoli, Amgaon, Gumgaon, Kotewada, Wagdara, Taklaghat, Kirmiti, Bharkas, Gandhi Khapri, Salaidabha, Shirul, Khadki, and Kanholibara districts.
