Nagpur Ladies Circle 50 (NLC 50) takes great pride in announcing the successful completion of its ambitious project to renovate and modernize the girls’ and boys’ toilet blocks at Lok Shikshan School, Reshim Bagh. The project, aimed at promoting hygiene and sanitation in schools, has been a collaborative effort involving generous contributions from various quarters.
The toilet blocks, which had not seen renovation for over three decades, underwent a remarkable transformation, thanks to the support received from the Round Table India Foundation (RTIF), the Project Unnati Grant, and a generous donation from Mr. Hardik Doshi and Mrs. Dipti Doshi. With their assistance, NLC 50 was able to provide the school with much-needed upgrades, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for its approximately 500 students.
The inauguration ceremony, held in the presence of AST Area 3, LMF Cr. Isha Agrawal, and City Coordinator, Tr. Shubham Jain, marked a significant milestone in the project’s journey. The event was attended by esteemed members of NLC 50, including LMF Cr. Megha Agrawal (Chairperson), Cr. Abha Soni (Secretary), and Cr. Shipra Gugaliya (Treasurer).
The heartfelt gratitude expressed by the school authorities, who honored each participant with traditional shawls, Shriphal, and saplings, served as a poignant reminder of the impact of collective efforts in fostering positive change. NLC 50 is deeply humbled by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children and remains committed to furthering its mission of community service.
“Together we can,” remarked LMF Cr. Megha Agrawal, Chairperson of NLC 50, echoing the sentiment of unity and purpose that drove the project forward.
Cr. Dr. Abha Bang Soni, Secretary of NLC 50, added, “This project exemplifies the spirit of service and collaboration that defines NLC 50’s mission, and we are proud to have played a part in enhancing the educational environment for these children.”
