Two Vidarbha cricketers Mandar Mahale and Praful Hinge have been selected for Under-23 emerging camp to be organised by BCCI’s National Cricket Academy from May 22 at Surat. Both have been selected on the basis of their performances in the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy.
They will go through rigorous training during 17 to 18 days of camp. Left-handed Mahale was included in the Vidarbha Ranji Trophy team following his fabulous performance in the CK Nayudu Trophy.
He scored total 714 runs and also claimed 20 wickets including two five-wicket hauls.
He smashed three centuries and three fifties in eight matches.
As far as Hinge is concerned, he claimed a total 26 wickets in seven matches including two five wicket hauls.
The Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) officials wished them best luck.
