CDS School students organized a History Exhibition, showcasing the rich tapestry of India’s past, present, and future. The event, held under the guidance of dedicated teachers, saw enthusiastic participation from students who meticulously crafted projects and models, highlighting various epochs of Indian history.
The exhibition commenced with an eloquent introduction by Riddhima Gayaki from Class IX, who set the tone by delving into the ancient history of Indian literature, emphasizing Sanskrit as the classical language influenced by Karma and Vedas. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests including Chief Guest Mrs. Meenakshi Thakur, Director Mrs. Nisha Saraf, and Principal Mrs. Bharti Malviya, marked the official inauguration of the event.
Arnesh Naik and Dhruv Paliwal captivated the audience with a comprehensive PPT presentation, covering diverse aspects ranging from ancient history, mathematics, and political science to modern discoveries and inventions that have propelled India’s progress. Students showcased their knowledge through detailed charts and models, exploring themes such as food, clothing, religion, architecture, and wildlife.
Mrs. Meenakshi Thakur commended the students’ dedication and encouraged them to persevere in their endeavors, emphasizing the importance of consistency and determination in creating history. The participation of students from the Hingna branch added further depth to the exhibition, as they highlighted the unique cultural facets of Nagpur, including traditional attire and authentic cuisine.
Former CDS School student, Sujay Kalbhande, graced the event, expressing his delight at the school’s commitment to fostering holistic development through academic and extracurricular activities. Parents were also invited to witness the showcase of their children’s hard work, further fostering a sense of pride and appreciation for their achievements.
