Security beefed up after bomb threat
Nothing suspicious was found at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport at Nagpur. A thorough security check-up was conducted after receiving a bomb threat via e-mail.
An official at the airport reported that security personnel swiftly responded on receiving the email claiming a bomb had been planted at the airport. No suspicious item was discovered. Security was beefed up as a precautionary measure.
Similar emails were received at airports in Jaipur, Kanpur and Goa. Security measures were taken at all the airports.
