The temperature in the Vidarbha region started rising after a brief respite due to unseasonal rains. Except for Gondia the temperatures recorded in the region were above 40 degrees Celsius.
Akola recorded the highest temperature in the region at 43.9. Nagpur recorded 41.4 degrees, which was 1.3 degrees higher compared to Tuesday. Only Gondia was below 40 degrees at 39.0 degrees as adjoining Chhattisgarh received unseasonal rains.
