Despite officials maintaining silence on recent developments, insider sources have disclosed a concerning nexus between officers and agents within the Nagpur rural Regional Transport Office (RTO). Speaking to a local publication, highly placed sources revealed that the RTO wing in Nagpur rural appears to be operating under the influence of agents, with officers seemingly under constant surveillance.

Additionally, allegations have surfaced that the Mumbai Crime Branch has detected the writing of chassis numbers on stolen or assembled trucks. These stolen trucks mostly come from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya etc. These trucks, with new chassis number and fake documents, are then sold. Mumbai Police caught some trucks and checked their authenticity. They were shocked to see that the chassis number was not matching with the vehicle number. Then the team conducted further search operations and found that these trucks were transferred from Nagpur rural RTO.
The modus operandi involves stealing, dismantling, and assembling the trucks. Authorities are intensifying efforts to address these concerns swiftly.
