The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially announced the results for the ICSE and ISC Class 10th and 12th examinations of 2024 today, on May 6.
In a notable development for students, CISCE Chief Executive Joseph Emmanuel has announced that the board will no longer conduct compartment examinations for ICSE and ISC starting from 2024.
In 2023, the pass percentage for Class 10 was 98.94 percent, while for Class 12, it was 96.93 percent. Girls outperformed boys in both Class 10 and Class 12 exams. For Class 10, the pass percentage for girls was 99.21 percent, compared to 98.71 percent for boys. In Class 12, the pass percentage for girls was 98.01 percent, while for boys, it was 95.96 percent.
The CISCE Class 10th and 12th results are available on the official site of CISCE at cisce.org and results.cisce.org.
This year, over 2.5 lakh applicants took the CISCE Examination for Class 10 and 12. The ICSE or Class 10 tests began on February 21, 2024, and finished on March 28, 2024.
The Class 12 or ISC examinations began on February 12, 2024. The examination concluded on April 4, 2024. Students had 15 minutes to read the question paper.
