Thirteen airports across the country received e-mails threatening to blow up. The threats were received on Sunday by the Central Industrial Security Forces at 3.06 pm. Following search operations nothing suspicious was found.
The bomb scare at Chaudhari Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow, airports at Bhopal, Patna, Jammu, Jaipur and other places were under threat. Panic prevailed for some time.
Apart from search operations authorities are taking additional care at all airports. Earlier similar threats were received for blowing up Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and more than ten hospitals. Nagpur airport also was under threat.
