Students of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University will now have the opportunity to research and gain extensive knowledge of the Indian knowledge tradition. The university has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hindu Dharma Sanskriti Mandir to facilitate this. The MoU transfer took place at the Jamnalal Bajaj Administrative Building in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Subhash Chaudhari.
The New National Education Policy 2020 includes the “Indian Knowledge Tradition” to enable students to study India’s diverse and ancient knowledge. Under NEP 2020, students will be able to explore this tradition, supported by the resources of the Hindu Dharma Samskruti Mandir, which has a vast library of approximately 70,000 ancient manuscripts.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the university by Registrar Dr. Raju Hivase and Director of Innovation, New Research, and Partnership Board Dr. Rajesh Singh, and on behalf of the Hindu Dharma Samskruti Mandir by Dr. Sudhakar Ingle and Mangesh Shriram Joshi.
Researchers and students at Nagpur University will have access to the ancient Indian literature preserved by the Hindu Dharma Samskruti Mandir for their studies. There will also be educational exchanges and traditional research collaborations. Additionally, various activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, competitions, and credit exchange programs will be organized.
