Harpreet Singh Randhawa has been selected to represent in the World University Games scheduled to take place in Spain from June 21 to July 2.
Sunil Raisoni, Chairman of Raisoni Group, felicitated Harpreet, an 8th-semester Computer Science student at GH Raisoni College of Engineering.
Following his commendable performance at the Junior Asian Championship in Bahrain, Harpreet’s selection highlights his impressive track record. He has consistently competed for Maharashtra in multiple national events, securing medals for the state, showcasiing his exceptional talent and strong dedication to the sport.
The training camp for the tournament starts on June 5 at MG University in Kottayam and runs until June 19. Afterward, the team will travel to Antequera, Spain.
The Randhawa family has an impressive sports background, with all four members being international handball players and former students of RTM-NU. Harpreet’s father, Dr Inderjeet, his mother, Dr Lovneet, and his elder brother, Major Manpreet, have all served as captains of the Indian handball teams.
