CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, hosted an exclusive roundtable with select distinguished professors from the city’s leading institutions in finance, investment management, financial analytics, economics, fintech and business management. This inaugural session of the ‘Finance Industry Network’ is a unique outreach initiative to equip educators with the essential knowledge and resources to guide students towards successful careers in finance and investment management.
Nagpur’s esteemed finance and management educators that participated in the roundtable, alongside Arati Porwal, Country Head – India, CFA Institute, and Nikit Tyagi, Senior Manager, Partnerships & Client Solutions, CFA Institute.
During the roundtable, educators discussed their role in shaping careers and emphasized the importance of exposing students to globally recognized credentials like the CFA Program, particularly for finance and investment management careers. They also highlighted the need to integrate finance and investment management education for STEM students, such as engineers, allowing them to develop diverse skill sets and discover exciting career opportunities within the finance sector.
