In a committed effort towards promoting a healthier future, NTPC Mouda celebrated 10th International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2024 by organizing a comprehensive yoga and meditation training session. The session was led by Shri Kaustubha Acharya, a faculty member from the Art of Living, Nagpur.
The celebration of 10th International Day of Yoga was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri K.M.K Prusty, Head of Project, NTPC Mouda; Shri Prem Chand, GM (COE), NTPC; and Shri Pradeep Balwant Paranjape, GM (Project), NTPC Mouda. Members of the Samruddhi Mahila Samiti, representatives from various unions and associations, as well as NTPC employees.
During his address, Shri K.M.K Prusty emphasized the profound significance of incorporating yoga and meditation into daily life. Focusing on this year’s theme ‘Yoga for Self and Society’, he also highlighted how the yoga practices contribute significantly to the overall well-being of individuals and society at large. Shri Prusty extended his warm wishes to everyone on International Yoga Day 2024.
The celebration also saw the felicitation ceremony where Shri Kaustubha Acharya and his associate from the Art of Living, Nagpur were honoured by Shri K.M.K Prusty and the GMs of NTPC Mouda for their invaluable contribution to the session.
International Yoga Day, celebrated annually on 21st June and aims to promote the practice of yoga for the holistic development and progress of the nation. The celebration at NTPC Mouda stands as a testament to this mission, fostering a spirit of health and well-being within the community.
