The Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department invites applications for admission to a newly established girls hostel in Nagpur for the academic year 2024-25. The hostel has a capacity to accommodate 100 girls and is specifically intended for students belonging to OBC (Other Backward Classes), SC (Scheduled Castes), NT (Nomadic Tribes), and SBC (Special Backward Classes).
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications by July 27. Admission to the hostel will be based on merit, with reservation quotas as follows: 51% for OBC, 33% for SC and NT, 6% for SBC, 4% for Disabled students, 2% for Orphans, and 4% for EBC (Economically Backward Classes).
This initiative aims to provide necessary accommodations and support for eligible students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring equitable access to educational facilities.
