The drivers and conductors of school and college buses will be imparted training for operations, at Gyuanyogi Dr Shrikant Jichkar Children’s Traffic Park, Dharampeth, Nagpur. Nagpur Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr Abhijit Chaudhari has made available the park to aocial organisation Jan Akrosh. School-going children, College students youth and women, besides vehicle drivers will be trained on traffic rules free of cost. Dr Chaudhari appealed to Jan Akrosh to impart the training.
Founder Secretary of Jan Akrosh Ravindra Kaskhedikar said that training to student-carrying vehicle drivers will begin on July 14. Jan Akrosh’s office bearers thanked NMC for making the park available.
Following traffic rules is essential to avoid accidents and prevent traffic jams. The Children’s Traffic Park was developed to generate awareness among children about traffic rules.
Dr Chaudhari instructed the authorities concerned to maintain the park’s toys, equipment and toilets.
