The Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will begin the HSC and SSC supplementary examinations on Tuesday. The HSC exams are scheduled from July 16 to August 6, while the SSC exams will run from July 16 to July 30.
To ensure a smooth examination process, the board has arranged for heightened security at exam centers. A team of five officers, including women, from the district administration will conduct surprise visits on days with critical question papers. Prohibitory orders will be in effect from 8 am to 8 pm during the exam period, according to a press release issued on Sunday.
Only teachers, officers, and employees will be permitted within 100 meters of the examination centers, with all other individuals barred from the vicinity. Additionally, the use of mobile phones, wireless devices, radios, calculators, or laptops is prohibited within the same 100-meter radius.
