The Maharashtra Government recently launched Chief Minister-Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana. there is a spontaneous response from the beneficiary women to fill the applications at the ward-wise application acceptance centers run by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Ward-wise Application Acceptance Centers functioning in all ten zones of Nagpur city will Now remain open even on holidays.
Women from families with an annual income of up to 2.5 lakh will get financial support of Rs 1,500 per month. Application acceptance centers have been started in all zonal offices of Nagpur Municipal Corporation as well as in each ward to benefit maximum number of women in the city. These centers are also responsible for providing proper information about the documents to the women while accepting the application and solving their queries. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari along with Additional Commissioner Smt. Anchal Goyal have visited various centers and interacted with the staff as well as the eligible beneficiaries. In order that all the eligible women in the city get the benefit of this scheme and no one is deprived of the scheme, the municipal commissioner has directed to continue the application acceptance center even on a holiday on Wednesday. As directed by the commissioner, the zone’s assistant commissioner has been given the responsibility.
Applications are being accepted at the zonal office of the NMC as well as at the wards in each zone. Apart from this, applications are also being accepted in Anganwadi Centres. Apart from this, the women beneficiaries can also apply themselves through the mobile app ‘Nari Shakti Dut’. The application is accepted after filling the name, address and other information in the app and uploading the necessary documents. The Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Social Development Department called upon the eligible women to submit their application through online or offline to take advantage of the Chief Minister-Maji Ladki Bahin scheme.
A total of 20761 applications have been received so far in all ten zones. In this, 15655 applications were submitted offline and 5106 applications were submitted online. Also, 46536 applications have been submitted offline and 17587 applications have been submitted online, a total of 64123 applications have been submitted at Anganwadi Centers.
