Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur, hosted its Investiture Ceremony on July 19 to bestow responsibilities on the newly elected student council and honour the school’s legacy of creating future leaders on the occasion of their Founder’s Day. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Colonel (Dr) Amitabh Hoskote, Administrative Commandant of Kamptee Military Cantonment and an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Indian Military Academy and Army War College. The occasion showcased impressive leadership, discipline, and enthusiasm from the school’s young leaders.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, marking the beginning of the important event. The school choir captivated the audience with a special song, boosting their spirits. The Principal, Ms. Yogeeta Umalkar, warmly welcomed everyone and shared her inspiring words. The badges were then pinned on the newly elected student council members. In a gesture of commitment, the student council members pledged to uphold the school’s values and responsibilities. The audience enjoyed the captivating performances by the folk dance troupe and the school band, who presented a range of devotional songs.
