Parminder, an IRS officer from the 1988 batch, has assumed office as the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (PCCIT) for the Nagpur region effective July 22.
With extensive experience in pivotal roles, Parminder previously served as the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax-5 in Mumbai before her promotion to the Nagpur region. Her career spans various significant assignments in Rajasthan, Gujarat, New Delhi, and Mumbai.
Expressing confidence in the people of Nagpur, particularly taxpayers and their representatives, Parminder has announced a dedicated time slot from 3 pm to 4 pm on all working days at Aayakar Bhawan, Nagpur. This initiative aims to facilitate discussions on tax-related matters with stakeholders.
Parminder’s appointment is expected to bring a new focus to tax administration in the Nagpur region, ensuring efficient and taxpayer-friendly services.
