A police constable attached to Yashodhara Nagar Police Station has been suspended for allegedly assaulting his neighbour, according to officials.
Sources indicate that the accused, identified as Roshan Jaiswal, allegedly attacked his neighbour over a minor dispute, leading to the neighbour suffering a dislocated arm. The victim promptly filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the police. Acting swiftly, senior officials of the Nagpur Police Department suspended the constable involved in the incident.
This suspension follows the recent suspension of two Kalamna Police Station personnel, who were caught on video gambling and smoking on duty at a police chowki. The video, recorded a year ago, surfaced recently, leading to disciplinary action against the duo.
