The tourists of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Chandrapur district will have to pay more as the administration has decided to increase the charges by Rs 200 in the core area safari. Those booking for the safari (at least 6 tourists) will be allowed free entry into the Visapur Botanical Garden.
An additional revenue of about Rs 1.80 crore will be collected through the hike in charges.a total of 250 vehicles are allowed in two shifts into the tiger project. With the hike of charges by Rs 200, the administration will generate a revenue of Rs 50,000 per month.
