One passenger died and 28 others were injured in a horrific accident on the Amravati-Nagpur National Highway near Nandgaonpeth when the Shivshahi ST bus overturned on the side of the road. The accident took place around 9.30 am on Sunday. The bus driver said the bus overturned after losing control of the vehicle while trying to save a cow crossing the road. The injured passengers are undergoing treatment at the District General Hospital.

A total of 35 people were traveling in the bus. 28 people injured In this accident, the glass of the bus was completely broken. Residents of the area started rescue operations. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the Nandgaonpeth police team reached the spot. The injured passengers were evacuated through the emergency door. Due to this accident, the traffic on one side of the national highway was stopped for some time.
