In a recent shake-up, the transfer of IAS officers announced on Thursday includes Saumya Sharma-Chandak, the CEO of Nagpur Zila Parishad, who has been appointed as the new CEO of the Nagpur Smart City Project. The position had been vacant for the past three months following the departure of Prithviraj B P.
Taking over as CEO of the Nagpur Zila Parishad will be Vinayak Mahamuni, the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) from Nandurbar. He is expected to assume his new role shortly. Notably, Saumya Sharma had previously requested a transfer from the government, making her move part of the broader IAS officer transfers conducted on Thursday.
