In a joyous development, Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Sunday. According to multiple news reports, the baby was born at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital. Hindustantimes.com has not yet independently verified this information, and an official statement from the couple is still pending.
On Sunday, Padukone and Singh, accompanied by their family members, were seen arriving at the hospital. The media was unable to capture their arrival as they were inside a curtained car. Following their arrival, family members also began to arrive at the hospital.
The birth of their daughter follows the couple’s recent visit to Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, where they sought blessings just days earlier on Friday. In a video shared by a paparazzo, Padukone, dressed in a traditional green saree, was seen visiting the temple with her baby bump visible.
The couple announced their pregnancy in February this year with a joint post featuring the caption “September 2024,” accompanied by motifs of baby clothes, shoes, and balloons.
