The Achievers School successfully organized an enriching field trip for Grade 10
students to the Jivandhara Workshop, a center dedicated to individuals with mental
challenges. The primary goal of this visit was to develop social and emotional skills
among students, encouraging them to understand the importance of empathy, kindness,
and inclusivity.
Throughout the visit, students interacted with the individuals at the workshop, who
demonstrated remarkable talents in art, dance, and music. The students were deeply
inspired by their creative expressions and learned that with the right guidance and
environment, everyone can shine uniquely.
The staff at Jivandhara were exceptionally warm and cooperative, showing deep care
and dedication towards the individuals in their care. Their efforts in nurturing these skills
have significantly contributed to the overall development of the residents, helping them
build confidence and express themselves creatively.
The students returned with a renewed perspective, realizing the importance of
community service and understanding different aspects of human potential. This field trip
has undoubtedly impacted their emotional and social growth, aligning with The
Achievers School’s commitment to holistic education.
We are proud of our students for displaying respect and empathy during this visit and
are thankful to the Jivandhara Workshop for their hospitality.
We thank Mr. Sunil Mankar, the in-charge, for coordinating and overseeing this
meaningful experience.
