Starting today, the Nagpur Traffic Police has rolled out a special traffic plan for Itwari Market to handle the increased festive rush during the Diwali season. This plan will be in effect from October 22, 2024, to November 5, 2024, and will be enforced daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The initiative aims to reduce congestion and facilitate smooth movement for both shoppers and residents.
Key changes include restricted access for four-wheelers and auto-rickshaws at major intersections such as Gandhi Bagh, Tanga Stand, and Nanga Putla, as well as designated one-way and two-way traffic routes. The police have urged the public to cooperate fully and recommended using public transport during peak hours.
