The Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Joint Preliminary Examination, conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), will finally take place on December 1 after being postponed three times. This announcement has brought a mix of relief and apprehension to aspirants across the state.
In Nagpur district, 11,781 candidates are set to appear for the exam, which will be conducted at 33 centers in the city. The examination will be held in two sessions: from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Candidates are required to arrive at their designated centers 90 minutes before the scheduled start. Those appearing for the morning session must report by 8:30 a.m., while afternoon session candidates need to be present by 1:30 p.m. Question papers will be distributed three minutes prior to the start of the exam.
To ensure a fair and smooth process, strict measures have been put in place. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited, and candidates have been advised to leave their devices at home. Entry will be permitted only after identity verification through the QR code on admit cards, and biometric authentication will be mandatory.
