A fire broke out at the Mujib Diamond Agarbatti factory in Om Sai Nagar, Kalamna, on Saturday morning around 8:45 am. Flames were seen engulfing the factory when a team from the Kalamna Fire Station, led by Station Officer Akalim Sheikh, arrived at the scene.
Given the fire’s intensity, additional teams from Lakadganj and Sakkardara fire stations were called in. After nearly four hours of coordinated efforts, the blaze was brought under control.
Initial estimates peg the damage at approximately ₹50,000, though the cause of the fire remains undetermined. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and timely intervention prevented further damage.
