Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, showcased exceptional musical talent at Centunes 2024, the inter-school singing competition organized by Centre Point School, Wardhman Nagar. Competing in both Indian and Western music segments on 29th and 30th November, 2024, the school emerged victorious, winning accolades in the choir and duet categories across both segments, and clinching the coveted Overall Championship Trophy
Western Music Segment:
Duet Performance:
The talented duo of Sanskruti Kamble (Class 9A) and Vrutika Jaiswal (Class 9B) secured the 2nd Prize with their heartfelt rendition of ABBA’s “Chiquitita.” Their melodious delivery and seamless vocal chemistry left the audience mesmerized.
Choir Performance:
The Western choir group captivated the audience with an electrifying performance of ABBA’s “Voulez Vous.” The team’s synchronized movements and three-part harmony vocals earned them the 3rd Prize, solidifying their place as one of the top teams in the competition.

The Indian choir team delivered a mesmerizing rendition of “Jagdishwari Maheshwari,” with a special highlight being the “Aigiri Nandini” segment sung in three-part harmony. Guided by Mrs. Varsha Jain, the 20-member team from Classes 5 to 7 earned the 1st Prize for their soulful and energetic performance.

Duet Performance:
The duet team of Atishay Sumit Jain (Class 7) and Taksheel Jambhulkar (Class 7) showcased their classical expertise with Raagmala, a composition blending six to seven raagas. Their innovative harmonies and a beautifully executed Tarana earned them the 2nd Prize in the Indian music segment.
