A researcher from the Nagpur city Rajnigandha Ashok Shende has been awarded PhD by the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) for groundbreaking research in Nanobiotechnology and Targeted Drug Delivery. The title of her PhD thesis was ‘Designing of smart mesoporous silica nanoparticles as a next-generation drug delivery vehicle for treating Colorectal cancer’.
Her research work was carried out at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, under the guidance of Dr. Bhushan P. Chaudhari (Senior Principal Scientist). She has a total of five publications during her PhD journey, with one more currently in progress. This remarkable achievement marks a significant milestone in her academic and research career.
