A 10-year-old boy named Sanchit Arvind Nard, who went missing from his home in Shriram Nagar under Wathoda Police Station limits, was safely found and reunited with his family on Thursday evening.
The boy reportedly left home around 11:00 a.m., upset that his birthday celebration was not held in the morning. Concerned family members informed the police about his disappearance at 4:00 p.m.
Acting promptly, Wathoda police formed multiple search teams and combed the surrounding areas. At 4:55 p.m., Bit Marshal No. 2, Police Havildar Shashikant Bakkal, and Police Constable Shailendra Singh spotted Sanchit near the Swaminarayan Temple area.
In a touching gesture, the police not only reunited the child with his relieved parents but also celebrated his birthday at the police station by cutting a cake. The family expressed immense gratitude for the police’s swift action, their faces glowing with happiness.
The heartwarming efforts by the Wathoda police transformed a day of panic into a joyful celebration for the family.
