To manage traffic congestion on February 6, 2025, during the India vs. England ODI at VCA Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has planned a special city bus service for spectators.
Buses will run from Panchsheel Square, Sitabuldi, to Jamtha Stadium every 15 minutes from 9:00 AM until late at night, operating at regular fares. To address possible mobile network issues in the stadium area, tickets can be booked in advance via the ‘Chalo’ app. Online tickets will be available a day before and on match day, and passengers can show their digital tickets to the conductor. Additionally, a ticket counter will be set up near Jamtha T-Point for on-spot bookings.
NMC has encouraged spectators to use city buses to avoid traffic congestion and reach the stadium on time. Extra buses will also be available at night from Sitabuldi to Wadi, Koradi, Katol Naka, Kamptee, and Pardi as needed.
Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari has established a dedicated control room to oversee bus operations during the match.
In case of any issues related to bus transport, spectators can contact Sachin Gadbail at 7709955055 or Pravin Sarode at 9765978406.
