Nagpur : Tickets for the much-awaited India vs England ODI at VCA Stadium, Jamtha, scheduled for February 6, sold out within hours of going live online. The high demand and limited availability have fueled rampant black marketing, with touts reportedly selling tickets at three times their original prices.
Online ticket sales commenced at 10 am on February 2 through the official ticketing partner, District by Zomato. Fans were allowed to book a maximum of two tickets per mobile number and email ID. Ticket redemption is scheduled between February 3 and February 5 at Bilimoria Hall, Civil Lines, from 9:30 am to 8 pm. There will be no ticket redemption counters at Jamtha stadium on match day.
To ease transportation for fans, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has arranged special bus services from Panchsheel Square, Sitabuldi, to Jamtha Stadium. Buses will operate every 15 minutes from 9 am until late at night. Authorities urge fans to use official channels for a safe and enjoyable match experience.
Nagpur police have issued a stern warning against such illegal activities, promising strict action against offenders. Authorities have urged cricket enthusiasts to avoid purchasing tickets through unauthorized sources and to report any black marketing incidents.
