After nearly a year of inactivity due to the lack of a runway at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, the Nagpur Flying Club (NFC) has resumed operations. In just two days, trainees logged around 22 hours of flight time at Morwa Airport in Chandrapur. This has brought new enthusiasm among the club’s staff and students.
Notably, after Lokmat Times published a report on February 11, trainees began completing their pending flight hours on February 13. On the first day, nine trainees flew for about an hour each, totaling 9.45 hours of flight time.
The following day, the total flight time increased to 12.05 hours.
With the rapid progress, two trainee pilots are expected to receive their Commercial Pilot Licenses (CPL) this month. This will bring the total number of CPL graduates from this batch at Nagpur Flying Club to seven.
