The Pardi flyover has been in the news continuously since its construction. Earlier, questions were being raised about the delay in construction, now questions are being raised about its quality. Two days ago, the Central Avenue and Bhandewadi part of the flyover were opened for traffic. However, within 24 hours of the inauguration, concrete broke from the newly constructed part and fell on a car going down. Due to which the upper part of the car was damaged. Although there was no loss of life in the accident, but the car suffered major damage.
The construction company said that the flyover is completely safe and there is no breakage in any part of it. The concrete that has fallen was the waste part of the bridge. This part fell down due to vibration. The company said that similar waste concrete was used in many parts of the flyover, which has been fixed now.
