Nagpur: After a video of youngsters recklessly driving cars on Hingna Road went viral, the Traffic Police took swift action, imposing a hefty fine of over ₹23,000 on each of the five vehicles involved.
In addition to the fines, the parents of the offenders were called in, and the youngsters were made to submit a written apology in their presence. As part of a corrective measure, they were also given a two-hour session on traffic rules by the Road Safety Patrol (RSP) wing of the Traffic Branch at Traffic Park.
DCP Traffic Archit Chandak issued a stern warning against reckless driving and hooliganism on the roads, emphasizing that such behavior endangers not only the offenders but also other road users. The police have reinforced their commitment to taking strict action against traffic violations to ensure road safety.
