Delhi Public School, MIHAN, Nagpur, hosted a thrilling three-day Inter-School Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament for the prestigious President’s Cup 4.0 2024-25. Eight teams from various Nagpur schools competed for the coveted title.
The tournament culminated on February 27th, with Dr. Ashok Bagul, DSP PCR Nagpur, as the Chief Guest. Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro Vice Chairperson, and Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director of DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road Nagpur, joined virtually to motivate the young players. Ms. Nidhi Yadav, Principal DPS MIHAN Nagpur welcomed the guest and rendered the welcome address.
Dr. Bagul emphasized the importance of balancing sports and academics, encouraging students to consider sports as a profession. He stressed that education should be of utmost importance.

The tournament showcased exceptional teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among players. The DPS MIHAN grounds echoed with applause as the winners were announced. Team Warrior lifted the President’s Cup by defeating Team Destroyers by 4 wickets.
Swanand Haridas from the Warriors team was named Man of the Match for his decisive 33 runs and 1 wicket. Harman Singh received the Aranya Kedia All-Rounders Trophy for his outstanding batting, bowling, and fielding. Arush Waghade and Rajveer Kaul were awarded Best Batsman and Best Bowler, respectively.
