More than seven hutments in Chakarda hamlet in Nagthana under Dharni Tehsil of Amravati District were razed to ashes posing serious problems for the tribals living in the region. The fire broke out around 9 pm on Tuesday engulfing cooking gas cylinders, clothing, food grains, other essentials, and two-wheelers.
The fire engulfed the entire helmet within a few moments posing serious problems for the residents. The tribal community dominates the area. The firefighters defused the fire before the entire hamlet was razed. There was no loss of life. The local residents and social workers in the region have demanded immediate help to the tribal community.
