A heatwave on March 12 and 13 has been predicted in Chandrapur. District Collector Vinay Gouda GC has alerted the residents and advised to take adequate precautions during the heat wave.
Vinay Gouda has said that labourious work should be avoided between 12 noon and 4 pm, remain hydrated and refrain from consuming liquor, tea, coffee and carbonated cold drinks, use caps or umbrellas etc. The children and pets should not be kept in closed enclosures or parked vehicles and keep doors and windows open while cooking during this period.
