The Prime Minister will visit Nagpur on March 30 and lay the foundation stone for Madhav Netralaya near Vasudev Nagar Metro Station on the Aqua Line route. To manage the expected crowd, Maha Metro will run trains every 8 minutes from 8 AM to 2 PM in both directions.
Madhav Netralaya is close to Vasudev Nagar Metro Station, making the metro a good option for those attending the event. Many citizens had requested more metro trains for the day, and considering the hot weather, Maha Metro has adjusted its schedule for better convenience.
The Aqua Line runs from Prajapati Nagar to Lokmanya Nagar, covering stations like Vaishno Devi Chowk, Ambedkar Chowk, Telephone Exchange, Chitar Oli Chowk, Agrasen Chowk, Dosar Vaish Chowk, Nagpur Railway Station, Cotton Market, Sitabuldi Interchange, Jhansi Rani Chowk, Institute of Engineers, Shankar Nagar Chowk, LAD Chowk, Dharampeth College, Rachana Ring Road Junction, Vasudev Nagar, Bansi Nagar, and Lokmanya Nagar.
To avoid traffic and ensure safety, Maha Metro encourages citizens to use the metro for a smooth and quick journey to the event.
