On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti and Ambedkar Jayanti, all slaughterhouses and meat shops within Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) limits will remain closed on April 10 and 14, respectively. A flying squad has been formed by the NMC to ensure compliance, and strict action will be taken against those who violate the order, stated NMC Assistant Commissioner Gajendra Mahalle in a press release issued today.
