Nagpur: A 39-year-old man, identified as Tomeshwar Tansheji Mahurle, a resident of Khadka village in Hingna, died after allegedly jumping from the third floor of Hotel Leo Star on Hingna Road in the early hours of Monday, April 28.
According to police, Mahurle had checked into Room No. 301 of the hotel on April 27. Around 1:00 am the next day, he reportedly removed a barricade near the elevator area and leapt from the third floor, sustaining critical injuries. He was immediately rushed to Shalinitai Meghe Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Based on the statement given by his brother, Laxman Mahurle (29), MIDC Police have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
