A 65-year-old man lost his life after falling from the terrace of his apartment while inspecting a water tank sensor in Pratapnagar, Nagpur, on April 30, Tuesday evening.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Satish Ramchandra Deshmukh, a resident of Vikta Apartment, F-1, Sujata Layout, Dindayal Nagar, was climbing an iron ladder on the fourth-floor terrace around 5 PM when he lost his balance and fell from a height of approximately seven feet. He sustained serious injuries in the fall.
Deshmukh was immediately taken to Government Medical College and Hospital (Medical), where doctors declared him brought dead. Based on a complaint lodged by his brother, Pravin Ramchandra Deshmukh (58), a resident of Swavalambi Nagar, an accidental death report (ADR) has been registered at Pratapnagar Police Station.
